Conus Leopardus, Polished, (4.5+in)

This species is known to occur in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region and can be found in muddy/sandy bottoms from the intertidal zone to 50 metres. It is a common species and can be found hiding in amongst rubble on the bottom. The Lettered Cone Shell (Conus Leopardus) grows to a maximum length of approximately 13cm.
